About the event

This property is owned by Andrew McKibbin. He has a 2 thousand acre working sheep property at Rockley NSW near Bathurst NSW.

He has already previously planted tens of thousands of trees over past decades.

Andrew has prepared a planned tree planting site and has already fenced and ripped this area.

Native tree and shrub species suitable for the location have been identified with help from Andrew McKibbin and a local ecologist.

Rockley is a beautiful location and would make a great destination for a holiday.

Volunteers are welcome to camp on the property and/or another location nearby on the local river. Volunteers are welcome to camp on the Friday and Saturday and Sunday nights.

The tree planting site will have water and a portable toilet available.

Volunteers are requested to self-cater for their meals.

There are also motels and hotels in Bathurst 49klm from property or Oberon 50klm from property.
