Our goal is to create a better world through environmental and habitat preservation. The Rotary Club of Environment & Habitat has been involved in a variety of impactful projects that have truly made a difference. Explore our recent projects to learn more about how we are working to improve our habitats.

Rotary Adopt A Tree

Adopt a tree for $5.00, receive a numbered electronic certificate and come along to any of our many plantings to make a better environment and improve the Bio Diversity of the planting area.

Walk & Rally Against Domestic and Family Violence

In 2024 we formed a partnership with City of Parramatta to hold a walk to Parramatta Square and held a rally with a number of speakers to highlight this world wide problem during the United Nations 16 days of Activism. This event will be held again in 2025

Food Ladder- Coonamble Primary School

The school s located 6 hours from Sydney on the western plains NSW. 92% of the children are indigenous and with the new green house children are learning to grow their own vegetables and how to prepare meals for their lunches. Rural areas have a lack of fresh vegetables due to distance from the City markets and the cost of vegetables is can be out of reach for most families., while the nutritional value will demise as well with distance.

PhD Scholars- Australian Rotary Health

The Club has been a long term supporter of Australian Rotary Health PhD Scholars into Mental Health Research and Youth Suicide
